The company has been operating out of Lowestoft for the last two and a half years, and for most of that time based at the OrbisEnergy centre which specialises in housing and supporting innovative offshore renewable energy companies. In that time, it has: managed a number of projects for external partners, found funding to get a wave and flow tank built in the town, patented a dozen different devices in the fields of energy and disaster relief, spun out two new businesses now looking for Angel or VC investment, and started a joint venture with another local company to combat scour around offshore wind turbines.
