Coastal Erosion Elimination
CEE has a prototype device (a scale model of which has already been sea trialled) for combining the combating of coastal erosion and the generation of electricity into a single device. Fundamentally it removes much of the energy from the tidal flow (creating electricity), but also reduces its speed sufficiently to allow sediment to drop out of suspension onto the sea floor and build up sand banks to create first line protection for the coast.
